Wow can you believe it is Friday?! This week has gone by CRAZY fast. Since Thanksgiving I have had so much going on that everything seems like a blur.
Our big weekend plans include taking our children to see real live reindeer at a local greenhouse and on Saturday a Christmas party. I am looking forward to it! What are your big weekend plans?
My Friday favorites are going to be abbreviated this week due to how crazy busy I’ve been. Here are my FIVE favorites this week.
This is such a great way to earn money for your child’s school. As Box Top coordinator for Sasha’s school it has been eye opening to see how each Box Top, worth 10 cents, really adds up. If you don’t have a school to donate too you could always send me your Box Tops!
These delicious bars are like Twin Bing candy bars. These candy bars are a favorite of mine. I remember my Grandma used to include these bars on her Christmas goodies platter. I have already made a batch this week and foresee at least one more batch before Christmas.
3) Felted Wool Garland
I am a little obsessed with these colorful balls. And wouldn’t you know it I can’t find them in a single craft store in Omaha! They are so fun and cheery. I think I am going to have to order some and string some colorful garland in the kiddos’ playroom.
Ahhh I love this green color, green is my favorite. This is just part of Martha Stewart’s collection. I am a teensy bit jealous. I always keep my eyes open for it at every thrift store/estate sale I go to. So far I have one mixing bowl. Ha! Well a collection needs to start somewhere
5) Caucasian Ovcharka (Caucasian Shepherd Dog)
A friend on Facebook recently posted a picture of these enormous dogs. I want one! Maybe when I finally move to a farm I can have one of these giant fluffy dogs. They were used to assist in bear hunting, not that we have any bears in my part of the state.
These are a few of my favorites I discovered this week. Anything fun you found? Share in the comments!
Have a fab weekend!
