How has your week gone so far? I am in a weird limbo between it is FINALLY Friday and it is Friday already?! This week has been a little crazy! We postponed painting our master bedroom last weekend so maybe we will tackle it this weekend. I went to the furniture store three times this week. Ugh! Our living room furniture is coming apart and the furniture company is giving us store credit to replace it. Unfortunately we haven’t found the perfect furniture yet. I would rather watch grass grow or golf on TV instead of furniture shopping.
Anywhoodle, it is Friday and I have a list of favorites! At the end of the list there is a recipe for peanut butter cookies with chocolate hearts. Perfect for Valentine’s day!
Have a great weekend everyone! XO

2. American Girl Doll Dress Tutorial
Amanda at My Cup Overflows has an adorable American Girl doll dress tutorial. My girls received American Girl-like dolls for Christmas and I would love to make them a few dresses.
3. Maybelline’s Color Whisper Lipstick
I’m not a big lipstick wearer –I feel like I don’t know how to wear lipstick if that makes any sense. I recently tried out Color Whisper in Lust For Blush and Bare To Be Bold. They give your lips color but it doesn’t feel like it is too much. I’m a big fan!

Daniel and Lauren are an amazing photography duo. If you have upcoming engagement/wedding/graduation photo needs coming up. Look them up! At the very least check out their website and drool over the amazing photos. I want to marry my husband all over again just so we could have awesome wedding photos done by The Mullers. No lie.
These cupcakes by Pastry Affair are simply divine. I have tried several different homemade cupcake recipes and all of them were lacking. This one is perfect, and easy, and deliciously vanillay. This is now my go-to vanilla cake recipe. Yum!

On to the cookies! I made these peanut butter blossoms a Valentine’s day cookie by using Dove chocolate hearts. I like Betty Crocker’s recipe for peanut butter cookies, so that is what I used.

PEANUT BUTTER VALENTINE’S COOKIES
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 bag of Dove chocolate hearts candy
Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat together sugars, peanut butter, butter and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until combined Stir in flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light brown. Immediately press 1 chocolate candy in center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
